I am blessed to teach at a Catholic school within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee that opens its doors and welcomes ALL children because isn't THAT what schools are for...educating children?!? I am so excited for the 2017-18 school year to begin. I teach 4K and will have the privilege of welcoming not one, but TWO little special children of God who happen to have Downs Syndrome. I am certain that it will be one of the most rewarding years of my career. We also have a Down Syndrome student graduating from 8th grade this year and another graduating next year. Your words are so true. Our students didn't need to be prepared to have these students in their classes. They have grown and learned together, side-by-side, and have learned to accept similarities as well as differences. God created us all as unique individuals. Together we ARE so much better:) God bless you and congratulations!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593077968337944461.post-6824085872668047102014-11-18T11:30:43.579-08:002014-11-18T11:30:43.579-08:00Dear Beth,
